Mountain Stir began as 'Mountain Stir Fry' almost 20 years ago, when Chef Melissa Clopton set up a booth at a farmer's market to see if anyone would like her food. They did. Years later, she purchased a food trailer and began vending every day to the delight of the Durango community. But after the food truck park closed, she had to pivot. Today, Mountain Stir is an exclusive online catering service for small groups, offices, and even large events. Chef Melissa still appears at farmer's markets in Durango and Telluride.
